To place a Tapered Member by two points:

Select the Place Tapered Member tool and choose the Place By option of Two Points.

For the first point, enter the End 1 section or click Select to choose the section end from the list.

For the last point, enter the End 2 section or click Select to choose the section end from the list.

Enter the starting point for the member.

Place a data point to indicate the end point of the member.

Click Reset.
